Painting order
Recommended steps

Basecoat the crests with Dawnstone, then lighten them with Administratum Grey.

Paint the plates and runes with Warplock Bronze.

Block in the black cloth and leather with Abaddon Black.

Use Nuln Oil to cool the metals and the recesses.

Keep the skin simple with Bugman's Glow so it doesn't steal the show from that grey beard.
