Start with the cold metals and keep the water green for the runes, embers, and braziers. If the turquoise accents take over, the army loses its infernal, disciplined forge character.

Painting order

Recommended steps
1 Basecoat the plates and helmets with Leadbelcher.
2 Run Nuln Oil into the metal recesses to cool the whole structure.
3 Pick the volumes back out with Runefang Steel on the edges and dominant panels.
4 Paint the runes, embers, and flames with Sotek Green, then build up to Kabalite Green.
5 Keep Corax White for the hottest tips and the light breaks.

Tips

Hints for this army
1 Keep the turquoise centred on the braziers and symbols so it never steals the metallic read.
2 A slightly satin steel sells Ur-Zorn better than metal that is too dirty or too coppery.
