Painting order

Recommended steps
1 Basecoat the warm areas with Mephiston Red.
2 Build the flames and accents up with Troll Slayer Orange.
3 Use Thousand Sons Blue on the shadow robes and cold counterpoints.
4 Paint the ornaments with Retributor Armour.
5 Bind the transitions with Druchii Violet in the recesses.

Tips

Hints for this army
1 Don't let the blue take more than a third of the model if you want to keep the pyric theme.
2 Violet in the recesses brings the red and the blue together without a hard seam.
